Ex- Doctor Faces Sexual Assault Charges Involving 38 Patients
Legal authorities report that a ex- doctor now faces charges for carrying out sexual assaults against thirty-eight victims who were under his care.
The Grave Charges
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of sexual offences – comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
One senior CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what investigators called a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on 20 January.

Prosecutors outline the forty-five charges include:
- 15 counts of assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- One count of attempted penetrative assault.
