Passionate supporters of the pop star are demanding that a man who breached a barricade and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a event pathway accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was due to appear on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram account includes clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Safety

Several fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another response on Instagram.

Some attendees also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others requested online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The motion picture, to be premiered on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-part version of the acclaimed theatrical show Wicked, which centers on the surprising relationship between two distinct characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned ten Academy Award nods, winning a pair for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
