The New Animated Series' Introductory Sequence Chose the Incorrect Popular RPG Show Song

The Mighty Nein, the most recent animated adventure by the beloved role-playing group, revealed a new opening credits. It showcases the beloved cast of misfits, misfits, and rogues kicking ass and making their mark, while also hinting at multiple agonizing personal histories for characters such as Liam O'Brien's wizard Caleb, and another actor's orc warlock, Fjord.

All in all, the opening appears stunning. However, I felt that an element was missing in the song choice.

The intro employs "Welcome to the Continent", an exceptional song created by producer and singer Colm McGuinness. This piece originating from the official score of the same name, the second one put out by Critical Role Productions LLC's music division their music brand. It's a wonderful nostalgic choice, and I suspect that devotees of the sequel series will love its presence.

But for me, The Mighty Nein's opening fails to capture the excitement and excitement that was part of the show's actual-play adventure. "It's Your Turn", written by musician the artist, became an immediate hit for me when it was first revealed in that year, and it only got better when cast member Sam Riegel added lyrics to the tune for the animated Campaign 2 opening in 2018.

Featuring vocals from one actress, another performer, a co-star, as well as the writer, the song was memorable and enjoyable. At the time, I hadn't seen the second campaign at that point, but this was such an earworm that I still saved it on my phone. This track that excites you before you start an episode of adventurous fun.

The Mighty Nein's opening with "the new song" doesn't strike the right notes in my opinion. It's a grand composition, but from what I know of this party, I feel that its tone is somewhat mismatched.

Naturally, the creators has stated that the series will have a few changes and differences from the original live sessions. An adjusted mood for its intro seems to be among these.

This animated adventure will be released on Prime Video from Nov. 19. If you can't wait until then, or want a head start to get to know the characters of the second series, the actual play are accessible on the audio platform and the video site.
